Good morning,
For now, this website will remain K-2’s primary source for Spanish. Just click on the tab for your grade level. Also, remember to sign up for Epic Books! where you can read Spanish books online and have access to many other books in English as well! Our classroom code is: phj6595
I just sent invitations to CPS student emails for grades 3-8 to join a Google classroom. While I will continue to post resources here, I think having a smaller space where students can post questions will be beneficial. Please log into your email and accept the invitation. Classrooms are blank right now but will be updated this week.
¡Mil gracias! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. ¡Cuídense y hasta pronto!
As you know, Chicago Public Schools are closed from Tuesday, March 17 until Monday, April 20. During the school closure, enrichment activities will be uploaded to each grade level’s page. To access your child’s page, click on the tab at the top of this page that matches their grade level.
Student work during this time will not be graded, as these days are not Instructional Days. However, it is still expected that students complete their assigned learning opportunities in order to ensure they stay academically engaged and are prepared for when school does resume.
You have also likely seen this, but this list of 20 virtual field trips can also be something fun to do while home. I will also post other virtual trips related to Spanish as I find them.
Stay safe and I hope to see everyone back at school soon!
