16.1.17 – 20.1.17

Students this week will transition from their study of markets and stores into a study of food, specifically of traditional or popular Panamanian dishes. Throughout the unit, we will look at what is typically eaten in Panamá for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and discuss food preferences as they relate to these and other foods. Verbs such as Quiero (I want) will continue to be practiced, as well as ones such as me gusta(n)me encanta(n), and others.

Students will eventually make a carta (menu) that lists a menú del día (daily specials) and then role play visiting a restaurant, just as they did for shopping in their stores.
