In grades 3-5, we are currently working on our first unit of study. Students took their first interpretive language assessment in 4th and 5th grades. Third graders are working on their first presentational writing assignment.

In week 3, each group will focus on interpersonal speaking.

How can we practice at home?

• Review the online flashcards to ensure your child has memorized the vocabulary.
• Ask your child to speak to you about what they are studying:
  • Grade 3: all about me (describing people with adjectives, introductions)
  • Grade 4: daily routine (reflexive verbs)
  • Grade 5: activities in Peru and in Chicago (verb conjugations)
